Focus+
It is a modular therapy program that combines playful elements, evidence-based methods, and clear routine elements. It was developed to help children experience self-efficacy.
Parents and teachers are supported and guided, and therapists receive structured guidelines for their work.
A treatment concept I developed for children aged 6-12 who have been diagnosed with ADHD, high sensitivity, and emotional regulation disorders.
It comprises 27 therapy sessions designed for a 3x9 prescription of 60 minutes each.
It is based on scientifically sound approaches such as: Thoki ADHD, Marburg Concentration Training, CO-OP, Die Drei aus Hirnschmalz, Sensory Integration according to Jean Ayres, and the Attentioner.
• Sensory integration: targeted proprioceptive and vestibular inputs, regulation through movement, skill training.
• Action planning (CO-OP-oriented): step-by-step strategies, problem-solving approaches, planning cards.
• Everyday skills: homework organization, morning/evening routines, dealing with mishaps, independence in everyday school life.
• Social skills: conflict resolution strategies, perspective taking, communication aids, “three from brainpower.”
• Regulation skills: chewing chain, fidget tools, weight bands, focus cards—therapeutically guided and integrated into everyday life.
• Animal-assisted elements: use of therapy dog Linus to promote calmness, self-regulation, and social-emotional security.

In the future, I will offer further training and specialist input on the Fokus+ concept—for therapists, teachers, school special education teachers, and specialists from the educational and social sectors.
If you are interested in further training, a workshop, or individual specialist advice, please feel free to contact me. I will inform you in good time about planned dates, formats, and registration options.
